The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for purchasing / procurement of vertical and horizontal contracts for work constructed in the region. The position is responsible for bidding, spreading, analyzing, negotiating, and preparing award recommendations for contracts to approved Trades and Suppliers. In addition to procurement duties, this position will assemble and maintain budgets, prep documents for inclusion into trade contract agreements, and perform other duties related to the purchasing process.

  • Bachelor' s degree in supply chain, accounting, construction management, engineering or other related field OR at least 2 years of purchasing experience within the homebuilding sector is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects, deadlines and budgets related to the purchasing process

$55-65K DOE, plus annual bonus and excellent benefits.
This position will be located on site in Irvine, CA
