Scottsdale based manufacturer with global reach is adding a Logistics Administrator to their Global Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for production inventory control - forecasting what will need to be produced & shipped to overseas markets. The Logistics Administrator will enter and track data, logistics, and act as a liaison to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working with ocean logistics transportation (dry container shipping), be detail oriented and possess international and domestic shipping knowledge. Experience working with US customs is valuable but not required.

This is an on-site, direct hire role working at the corporate office in Scottsdale. The environment is Covid cautious with designated work spaces, majority closed door offices, and the ability to be socially distanced.

Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate Importer Security Filing (ISF) with other logistics team members using ocean container “ pre-alerts”.
  • Track/trace ocean container bookings ensuring utmost attention to speed and accuracy; ensure shipment data entered into operating system related to ocean container/freight movement from origin sourcing point to the ocean port of destination are entered accurately as well as timely.
  • Monitor for booking exceptions
  • Work with Logistics Last Mile/OTR Coordinator as well as with Customs team to ensure smooth handoffs between the first portion of a container’ s ocean journey, and the “ last mile”

Salary of 50-60K DOE, plus benefits.
