Human Resources Director

We are searching for someone with hands-on experience managing employee relations, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, and other HR processes and procedures. This role is heavily focused on employee engagement and development with the goal of maintaining a positive work environment and employee retention. Must be well-versed in labor relations and HR compliance.

Responsibilities include:
  • Employee Relations – provide active support of employees to ensure positive work culture and environment
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Employee Onboarding. Ensure timely notification of eligibility for employee benefits and enrollment.
  • Benefits Administration - provide comprehensive support to new hires and existing employees through orientation to benefits programs, open enrollment, and new hire enrollment in benefits programs
  • Liaison to benefits providers. Audit related invoices to accurately reflect employee participation and ensure timely payment. Investigate program benefits and resolve inquiries on behalf of employees.
  • Administer PTO, sick leave, FMLA and other programs.
  • Manage HRIS system records and update employee records effectively.

Requirements:
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience working with largely  nonexempt workforce in industry such as hospitality, retail, manufacturing addressing retention and safety issues 

On-site position

*Office located in Scottsdale but will often travel to worksite locations around the Valley

Salary DOE $100-130K
